Best shorts I have had in ages. The difference is the liner. These shorts have a liner that is not irritating and the elastic leg is built for the long haul. Competitors shorts have cheap elastic that fails after a very short time or are thin and don’t hold up. The pockets are not big baggy cargo pockets that catch on everything or make you look like a bag of …… Plenty of room to move the legs and very nice that they are not hanging clear down to your knees. The only drawback is the elastic belt. Dive into the water or come out too fast and….they don’t “hold up”. I replaced the elastic belt with a non stretching nylon belt and Ahhh. The perfect short. I am ordering two more pair.

Best shorts I have had in ages. What separates these from the others is the liner. Finally, a material that does not irritate and an elastic leg that will hold up for the long run. Competitor brands leg elastic are cheap and fall apart in a very short time. The pockets are not the big floppy ones that catch on everything or make you look like a bag of ….. The only drawback to these great shorts is the elastic belt. 1) it will stretch out in time and be useless and 2) if you dive into the water or come out of the water fast, an elastic belt just does “hold up.” Shorts around your knees. I replaced the elastic belt with a nylon belt. Ahhhh. Perfect. I am ordering more.

Great trunks. Material is lightweight but sturdy, dries fast, and looks like it will last forever. Drawstrings are thick and sturdy. The elastic belt is very practical. There is a nice side pocket with a zipper to secure your keys, rings, bottle openers, and other valuables. I wear these all day, whether I’m in the water or not.

Simply put, best shorts ever. They have an interior mesh brief to support the family jewels – so it plays well in the water, too. They’re all I pack for trips and I wear them for everything! Never had to throw a pair away even after years of use and abuse. Pleased that they have added new colors. Already ordered the new royal blue and red.
